Bio...

Combine slick beats and sassy vibe with vocal prowess and Jayne-Anne Power is what you get.

Her show combines a dash of Robyn’s dance floor beats and a hint of James Brown’s funk with the soul of Beyonce – power packed performances that justify her reputation as one of Adelaide’s finest acts.

As well as snagging major supports for Tina Arena at Thebarton Theatre, Renee Geyer at The Governor Hindmarsh Hotel and a festival support for Jon Stevens, her powerhouse vocals and funked-up soul have graced venues across the country such as the The Opera Bar in Sydney, the Corner Hotel in Melbourne and The Gov in Adelaide.

Despite her reputation as Adelaide’s leading soul diva, Jayne-Anne Power continues to reinvent herself and her sound.

Collaborations with dance crossover act, The Levitators, have resulted in JJJ airplay and performances at the Adelaide Fringe Opening in front of 10,000 people. Projects with producers Lunabass (ADL) and Primary Colour (MEL) have generated fresh club tracks that appeared on Channel 7’s “The Block” and further illustrate this singer / songwriter’s amazing musical adaptability.

But the stage is where she is most at home. Whether she is supporting acts like Vanessa Amorossi or headlining the Adelaide Fashion Festival Parades in Norwood or the Riverland Festival in Berri, her magnetic and powerful performances draw the crowd and have people mesmerised by her talent.

Her first two albums won critical acclaim, with international airplay and inclusion in commercials in the U.S. Reviews like “…an extremely talented band, effortlessly locking into super tight grooves..”, “An awesome voice that could launch a million records, a real find” and “exquisite vocal range and superb talent” continue to gather as she looks to release her third album.
